About

Built for the show barn

Goatie exists to answer a simple question: what could you learn about your project animal if an expert watched it as closely as you do?

Animals tell us things constantly — in how they move, stand, grow, and behave. Reading those signals has always taken years of trained eyes: the judge, the advisor, the vet, the old hand at the barn. Goatie puts that kind of understanding in your pocket, built from ordinary video captured on a phone.

We built Goatie for 4-H and FFA members because we know what a project year takes: early mornings before school, feed bills tracked in a notebook, practice setups in the backyard, and a record book due right when fair prep is busiest. Goatie is designed around that year — a little logging every day, honest coaching along the way, and a finished record book when it counts.

Every feature earns its place by helping a member do better work with their animal: showmanship practice with real feedback, growth tracking toward target weight, health records that stay organized, and project finances that add themselves up.

What we believe

Explainable, always

Every insight comes with the reasoning behind it. If Goatie can’t explain it, Goatie doesn’t say it.

Coach, not judge

The goal is a better exhibitor and a better-cared-for animal — feedback is actionable, encouraging, and specific.

Honest about uncertainty

Confidence levels are part of every analysis. AI is decision support, never a substitute for vets or professionals.

Members first

Simple enough for a first-year member, complete enough for a state-fair veteran. Built around the project year, not around software.
